Arena opera festival experience

Dates:

From June to September, 2026

1913 – this year marks the beginning of a great story, between Verona and opera. On 10 August 1913, Aida was performed on the Verona stage to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Giuseppe Verdi’s birth, and since then, every year, the Arena di Verona turns into the largest open-air theatre in the world. Even today, Aida is the queen opera of the Veronese festival, and every summer it attracts spectators from all over the world, who want to see the unique magic of opera at the Arena, at least once in their lifetime.

The quintessentially Italian soul of opera, the uniqueness of being inside a perfectly preserved Roman amphitheatre, and the majesty of the sets and choreography allow you to experience a performance as if two millennia had stood still, making the Arena Opera Festival a unique event in the world, capable of arousing emotions that leave an indelible mark on the audience’s experience.

An experience that combines Romeo and Juliet’s city of love, a drink along the Liston’s awnings, designed by Franco Zeffirelli, and the free and vibrant energy of a summer theatre night (only in Verona).

A red carpet and a special experience every night.

Every evening at the Arena Opera Festival is a special event that can be accompanied by an equally extraordinary experience: an exclusive Michelin-starred dinner on the arena’s Star Roof and reserved seats in the Royal Box: back stage VIP pass, a behind- the-scenes tour to discover the magic of opera preparations.

A skilled guide will lead us into the secrets of pre-opera preparations, sharing anecdotes and history, before pampering you with a light dinner in a dedicated location; Vinitaly the operas ouverture, an experience in the heart of the beautiful Palazzo Gran Guardia, with a light dinner and a tasting from the finest Italian wineries, selected in collaboration with Vinitaly; and stone lounge experience, a breathtaking location in the amphitheater overlooking the splendid Piazza Bra, dedicated to company guests. Each experience has been designed to allow companies to offer their top clients and stakeholders an unforgettable evening.
